SP Balasubrahmanyam's tribute to legendary lyricist Veturi Sundararama Murthy

As it is 10^th death anniversary of legendary Telugu cinema lyricist Veturi Sundararama Murthy, singer S.P Balasubrahmanyam has paid an emotional tribute to the legend.
The two shared a close bond and SPB shared a voice note expressing his grief for Veturi’s death. “Why did you come to this planet? Why did you impress all of us with your lyrics? Why did you just leave us? You made our hearts bleed and did not just stop there.You started stealing the hearts of youngsters with songs like Aaresukoboyi Paaresukunnanu. You gained so many Nandi awards and put them in your home. You did not just stop there. You took the Telugu literature to international standards. You collaborated with Chakravarti, Balu, Raja and Janaki and created some super strong and impactful music. Till date, we celebrate your songs. Who permitted you to come here? Who permitted you to leave all of us with teary eyes? Who?” said the voice note.

Veturi Sundararama Murthy who is popularly known as Veturi won National award for his lyrics of ‘Raalipoyepuvva Neeku Raagalendhuke’ and he is second Telugu lyricist to receive an award after Sri Sri. He penned over 5000 songs in his career and passed away in the year 2010.
