since its release. The video that is ‘dedicated to all the women out there’ deals with issues faced by women in society, especially in an Indian context. The video features Roll Rida too, sitting blind-folded and bound in a chair with television screens running behind him. The video also makes use of news clips showcasing the horrific treatment women and girl children are meted out.

Manisha’s vocals in particular talk of how a woman sacrifices her blood and tears to give birth to humans; who only grow up to trample her down. Roll Rida’s on the other hand talk of specific cases where children are raped by loved ones and killed by NRI families they’re married into. The video also touches the topic of shaming of women and victim blaming. The heart-breaking video ends with Roll Rida breaking free of his shackles and removing his blindfold.

Comments under the video see music lovers hailing Roll Rida and everyone involved for the powerful content they’ve put forth. Seems like even those who previously trolled the rapper, concerning his stint in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house, seem to have changed their view of him. The lyrics of the video, written by Roll Rida and Krishna Kanth seem to have won hearts.
