He is keen on savouring the Arabic fare on offer in the city this time around. ���I know the biryani is great! But I���m also eager to try some Arabic dishes. I hope I can make enough time to visit Old City in the coming days,��� adds Papon, who is dabbling with diverse musical genres presently.
Talking about his upcoming projects, Papon says, ���I���m currently working on my next album. It will be a lot more diverse with electronic, world music, thummri and reggae influences. I���m also working on my first Ghazal album. It���s been a childhood dream, but I wanted to be mature enough as a musician before I attempt it.���
Despite being involved with Bollywood projects, the singer says folk music is his true love. ���Every field of work gives you a different type of exposure. Film music involves a lot of people and the production levels are huge. But my own folk music is what connects with people. I love songs that take you on a journey,��� says Papon, signing off.
