, that released on April 9, has put forth the plight of common people who struggled without cash during the controversial move by the ruling central government on November 2016 that demonetised all ₹500 and ₹1000 banknotes and announced a new ₹500 and ₹2000 banknotes in exchange for them.

Taking a critical note on the move, the song highlighted the loopholes present in it and showcased how the top one per cent escaped from the country with hoards of money or converted illegal currency and made it legal.

With the lyrics " idi demonetisation, marutunda mana nation? Prasnisthe police station, idi golmal globalization," the song urged the politicians to take action on the real thieves instead of depriving the lives of common people by taking action against their hard earned money.

The three-and-a-half minute long song composed by Balamurali Balu is penned by DJ Vasanth and sung by Yazin Nizar. The movie Cash Cash directed and produced by Arul S under the banner of Media Marshal has Cheenu Mohan, Kaali Venkat, Marimuthu and Crane Manohar in the lead roles.
