Review: Santhosh Narayanan has always had a penchant of coming up with exciting tunes, and in this album he starts out with the feel-good sung by Siddharth Mahadevan. With his grungy voice, Santhosh perfectly complements the alternative rock vibe of the track. Venkatesh himself takes up vocal duties for , and the track starts out on a comic note with the actor mouthing a few rustic dialogues. And while the quirkiness of the track and violin interludes stands out, the song tends to get monotonous after a while. sung by Ananthu is a gem of a fusion track combining folk beats and Blues courtesy the acoustic guitar. This is sure to get the audience grooving. sung by Siddharth Mahadevan is an out and out hard rock song, and yet again Siddharth’s powerful voice is the highlight of the track along with the riff heavy electric guitar sounds. Things slow down a bit for sung by Dhee, a rustic and melodramatic song featuring accordion, flute and violin instrumentation which makes it engaging. Dhee sings the final song which has a melody that is high on emotion, and the sad vibe of the song is perfectly manifested in Dhee’s voice that adds character to the song. The album comes as a breath of fresh air from the formulaic style of composing so rampant in Tollywood.
