Album: Beautiful
Genre: Tollywood
Agasthya Manju’s Beautiful starring Parth Suri and Naina Ganguly, has an OST of four mind-numbingly mediocre numbers.
O Katha Chebuta Vinu with Karan Bharati’s music, Surya Prakash’s vocals and Sriram Tapaswi’s lyrics is supposed to be an introduction to the movie. The cheesy lyrics describe the relationship the protagonists share.
The tune and music of this number are okay, but the melodramatic manner in which Surya Prakash croons this number is cringeworthy.
The title track, Beautiful, is an peppy number with an outdated tune, music and vocals.Adding to this are Sirasri’s lyrics about, you guessed it, how beautiful life is. Shailey Bidwaikar’s jarring and loud vocals make matters worse.
Aiipo Rangeela with Ravi Shankar’s music, Sirasri’s lyrics and Uma Neha’s vocals continue in the same vein. The lyrics are especially subpar, and seems to have been written without any thought. With jarring vocals and an uninspiring tune, nothing from this number encourages you to listen to it.
Ra Kasithira is meant to be a romantic number with Ravi Shankar’s music and Sirasri’s lyrics. The number features heavily auto-tuned vocals of Revanth and Sakshi Honkar. In fact, Revanth’s voice is almost impossible to recognise given how much they have auto-tuned this number. But compared to the previous songs, this one fares a little better, despite the shoddy lyrics.
The album of Beautiful does not have anything new to offer. Not even numbers that are pleasant or enjoyable to listen to. Give this one a miss, you won't be missing out on much.
