It’s Ram Miriyala’s special. The renowned singer scored a peppy number with lively beats, and his vocals are lovely too. In fact, Ram Miriyala’s singing takes things to another level altogether. 'RRR' fails to secure a nomination at BAFTA 2023

RRR’s fans are heartbroken as the film didn't make it to the final cut of British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) nominations 2023.

After securing a Golden Globe and two Critics Choice Awards this year, acclaimed director SS Rajamouli's magnum opus 'RRR' failed to secure a nomination at the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA).

On Thursday, BAFTA revealed the list of nominations for this year, in which Shaunak Sen's "All that Breathes'' is the only Indian entry which secured a berth in the Best Documentary Category.

"All that Breathes'' for which awards chances have quietly gathered steam over the last month -- is up for best picture as well as film not in the English language, director, adapted screenplay, etc.

Earlier, 'RRR' won the Best Song award for its track 'Naatu Naatu' and the Best Foreign language film in the 28th version of the Critics’ Choice Awards.

Prior to that, 'RRR' made India proud on the global stage as it won the Golden Globe for the Best Original Score 'Naatu Naatu'.

The BAFTA nominations come almost two weeks after the British awards organisation released its longlists on January 6 -- a move that helped to absorb some of the more surprising omissions, although not entirely.

'RRR' is a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan and Jr NTR played lead roles, respectively.

Set in the 1920s, the plot explores the undocumented period in their lives when both the revolutionaries chose to go into obscurity before they began the fight for their country.

The film collected over Rs 1,200 crore worldwide. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran also starred in the film.
