Ever since the filmmakers announced that there’ll be an update announcement on Wednesday, fans have been trending the hashtag #BheemlaNayak on social media. The film will see Pawan Kalyan reprise Biju Menon’s role while Rana takes up Prithviraj Sukumaran’s.
Nithya Menen and
Samyuktha
play female leads in the film that is currently being shot.
Fans had expected an announcement that the film will hit screens for Sankranthi 2022 but it looks like they will have to wait a little longer to know the D-day. Saagar K Chandra is directing the remake that will see screenplay and dialogues by
Trivikram Srinivas. It remains to be seen how the remake will fare, especially as the makers have tweaked the film to suit Pawan’s star image.
