AR Rahman to scout for talent in Dharavi

AR Rahman has joined hands with filmmaker Sekhar Kapur for a new initiative named The Dharavi Project. The main intention behind the project is to discover and nurture talents from Dharavi, the world's largest slum, besides helping them showcase it to the world. The project was launched couple of days ago in Mumbai and speaking about the project, Rahman said, "I have been auditioning for a long time now.Today I was blown over by their performances. They were wonderful. I feel it does not matter where you come from it is all about having the fire in you. What they did today was moving and emotional. I think it could go on to become something very interesting."
