Anirudh opts out of Ram Charan's film!

We had earlier reported that Anirudh will be composing for his first straight Telugu film, RC 9, starring Ram Charan, being directed by Sreenu Vaitla. Now, the young composer has opted out of the project because of his commitments in Kollywood.
The Kolaveri hitmaker was recently signed on to be the composer for Ajith's next film with Siruthai Siva. In addition to this project, Anirudh also has half-a-dozen projects, including Maari and Velaiyilla Pattathari team's next film with Dhanush, Vijay Sethupathi's Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, Aakko, and the Udhayanidhi-Ahmed film Idhayam Murali.He is also likely to take up a couple of high-profile projects featuring top stars later this month.
So, the composer had spoken to the Telugu film's team about his inability to devote sufficient time for their project. They had understood and had mutually agreed to part ways and move on. Now, the team has roped in Thaman as the music director.
