When Ram Charan addressed rumours of secret marriage with Neha Sharma; 'Pushpa' actor Allu Arjun and him haven't spoken to each other since 18 years reportedly because of her

Ram Charan and Allu Arjun have now gotten hugely popular across the world and their stardom hasn't just remained to the south, thanks to their movies 'RRR' and 'Pushpa' respectively. For those not in the know, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun are cousins as their fathers Allu Arvind and Chiranjeevi, are brothers-in-law. But did you know that the duo did not talk to each other for years because of actress Neha Sharma?


As per the early reports in 2000s, Allu Arjun was in love with Neha Sharma who was seen with Emraan Hashmi in 'Crook' in 2010. However, before making her Bollywood debut, Neha was seen in south movies. It was being reported that time that Neha and Allu did get close and he had decided to marry her. But their bonding was short lived because reportedly, Neha started dating Ram Charan when they worked together in 'Chirutha' which was her debut film and also his debut. Infact, rumours were rife that Ram Charan had secretly married Neha and they were on a honeymoon. This came as a shock for Allu Arjun that it was Ram behind his fallout with Neha. Since then, they have not been on talking terms.


Infact, Ram had once addressed rumours of secret marriage with Neha. As quoted by Deccan Chronicle, he had said on a television chat show, "I am a married man and such rumours can definitely hamper my marriage. As a husband, it is my responsibility not to bring in a situation where my wife would have to protect me from other women. Chirutha was my debut film and since then the rumours about me secretly marrying Neha and going on a honeymoon started doing the rounds. My dad had asked me not to take this false news seriously."

He said that even his wife Upasana who was his friend that time, knew that these were just rumours. "Upasana and I were good friends then, and even she knew that these were just made-up news. Even after we got married, we made sure that this news would never create any problems for us. Upasana is now busy with her profession and she understands every bit of it," he said.

While Ram went on to marry Upasana in 2012, Allu Arjun met Sneha in the US and eventually they tied the knot in 2011. While they are both happily married now and have children, they still seem to not be on talking terms with each other.
