We shot an action sequence with the crew of Fast and Furious: Vi Anand

Vi Anand’s Disco Raja starring Ravi Teja, Payal Rajput and Nabha Natesh in lead roles, hits screens this Friday.
The director states that the film will be science-fiction and is one of the biggest and most important films of his career. “I had the basic idea for Disco Raja’s story ten years ago, but it’s been only a year and a half since I’ve found enough material to frame it right,” he says, adding, “The film will have many entertaining elements and is the most important film of my career.”
The director reveals that one of the most important scenes in the film was shot in Iceland.“We shot an action sequence with the crew of Fast and Furious there. It was a huge challenge because it was shot entirely on the Langjökull glacier, which is one of the largest in the world. Interstellar was also shot there,” he adds.
Vi Anand states that he wrote the lead character with Ravi Teja in his mind. “He plays a music loving gangster who’s filled with attitude and sarcasm. I have written it keeping Ravi Teja garu in mind and he liked it very much,” he says, rounding off.
