‘There will be fireworks when I lock horns with Nani in Indraganti’s next’

“My look might seem ‘loud’ and ‘aggressive’, but there’s a lot more to my character. He’s actually a very calm and level-headed guy who does not lose his cool unless the situation requires him to,” reveals Sudheer, adding, “The idea was to make Abhimanyu seem as real as a regular cop that you come across in your everyday life. As DCP, Task Force, he attends fashion shows, takes part in debates, etc., and there is nothing filmy about him.”
Sudheer says his onscreen clash with Nani, who plays the film’s antagonist, will be the highlight of V. “I play the proverbial good cop while Nani is a dangerous criminal. There will be fireworks when we go up against each other. The intense action sequences and dialogue baazi between the two of us will be a treat to watch,” he says.
Director Mohan Krishna Indraganti has gone all out to ensure the action episodes stand out. Apparently, Sudheer’s introduction scene alone was mounted on a set worth `2 crore. “It’s an exhilarating sequence set in the backdrop of riots in the Old City of Hyderabad. We created a whole colony and set it on fire. It’s going to be visually powerful, that’s for sure,” says the Baaghi actor, signing off.
