Tamannaah confirmed for Gopichand, Sampath Nandi’s sports drama

Sampath Nandi, who previously tasted success with Racha and

Yemaindi Ee Vela

, is now gearing up for a sports drama which will see Gopichand and

Tamannaah

in lead roles.

Welcoming the actress on-board, director Sampath wrote on his social media, “A hearty welcome to one of the beautiful n finest actress of our times @tamannahspeaks as the leading lady of our #Gopichand28. Hoping to create the magic of #Racha n #BengalTiger." (sic)



Similar to his earlier films, the yet-to-be-titled venture is expected to be an out and out commercial. Shoot which will kick start in November is being produced by Chitturi Srinivasaa under the banner of SS Screens.

After the 2017 film Goutham Nanda, Gopichand and Sampath are coming together again with this film.

Goutham Nanda

presented Gopichand in a new avatar but failed to woo the audience in the theatres. It remains to be seen how it’ll fare.
