Swathi starrer ‘London Babulu’ arriving in July

Last seen in the film ‘Tripura’ which released in 2015, Swathi is all set to entertain Telugu audiences with ‘London Babulu’ which has been planned for a release in the last week of July. The film is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster ‘Aandavan Kattalai’ which had Vijay Sethupathi and Rithika Singh in the lead. Debutant Rakshith has been paired opposite Swathi in the film which is being bankrolled by producer/director Maruti Dasari on his banner ‘Maruti Talkies’.Swathi plays the role of an anchor in a news channel in the film which is directed by Chinni Krishna. “Essentially, the premise of the film revolves around the fact that youngsters are quick to fall in love and get married and quick to go in for a divorce. This is shown in an emotional and entertaining manner in the film,” said Chinni Krishna. Ali and Murali Sharma play prominent roles in the film.
