At Chennamma hotel near Kotwalguda in Shamshabad, Bharat's car rammed into a parked truck from behind.

"Due to high speed collision, Bharat died on the spot. The truck broke down and it was parked on the road side," RGI Airport inspector M Mahesh said.

Cops said that the truck driver did not take proper precautions in parking the vehicle after it broke down. "We will register a case against the truck driver," the inspector said.

Police did not know where Bharat was coming from and where he was going. They have also not ruled out the drunken driving angle. "We will send the viscera to Forensic Science Laboratory for examination to see if the victim had consumed alcohol," the inspector said.

Bharat's brother Ragu and their actor friend Uttej reached the Osmania General Hospital Mortuary where the postmortem was happening. "I am not in a condition to talk," Uttej said. Raghu refused to talk to media personnel.
