Puri Jagannadh’s 'Mehbooba' wraps up shooting formalities

Filmmaker Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming film ‘Mehbooba’ has been creating a lot of buzz in Tollywod ever since it went on floors. Touted to be an intense love story the film is set against the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan war. As per latest updates the film has completed its shooting formalities last night. The makers are currently busy with the films post production activities. The film is shot in picturesque locales of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan. ‘Mehbooba’ features Puri’s son Akash Puri and Mangalore-based Neha Shetty in the lead roles. Sandeep Chowta is composing music for the film. Akash plays the role of an Indian boy who is in love with a Pakistani girl, played by Neha. The recently released teaser of the film received overwhelming response from the audience. Sandeep Chowta is composing the music for the film, which is expected to hit screens this summer.
