Megastar Chiranjeevi played a Telugu teacher in the 1997 film ‘Master’ and professor in the 2003 film ‘Tagore’. While his teaching methods were highly controversial in the VV Vinayak directorial, his teachings about Telugu in the former, empowered students to shape their lives for a better future. He encourages his students to learn something new constantly to bring about a change in their lives. Back in 1992, Victory Venkatesh added a feather to his already overwhelming list of roles – Telugu lecturer Venkateswarulu. Directed by K Raghavendra Rao, ‘Sundarakanda’ tells the story of a college girl who loves her lecturer deeply and wants to get married to him.
