Jr NTR
Jr NTR
Jr NTR is the ultimate artist for he can act splendidly, dance brilliantly and even croon. The actor first tried his luck in singing with SS Rajamouli’s ‘Yamadonga.’ After seeing the appreciation he received for his efforts, he went on to sing a few more numbers over the years, the latest being the famous, ‘Follow Follow’ from ‘Nannaku Prematho’ and ‘Geleya Geleya’ in Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar’s ‘Chakravyuha.’ If there is one Telugu actor who is best at singing, it has to be Jr NTR.
Allu Arjun
The stylish star tried playback singing only once back in 2010. He sang the number, ‘Prapancham Naaventa Vasthunte’ in the film, ‘Vedam,’ which was a remake of Simbu-starrer, ‘Vaanam.’ For some reason, he did not try to experiment further with singing after this attempt. But then he doesn’t need to sing to attract the crowd in thousands; his dance and flamboyance does the trick for him.
Pawan Kalyan
Pawan Kalyan has tried pretty much everything there is related to films and so it is no surprise that he has also crooned a few songs. The star started his singing career from his fifth film, ‘Thammudu’ and went on to sing six songs in total - the latest one being ‘Kaatama Rayudaa Kadiri Narasimhudaa’ from his blockbuster film, ‘Attarintiki Daredi.’ Fans are hopeful that he will continue to sing in his future films as well.
Nagarjuna
This handsome actor mostly restricted himself to acting and producing films until recently. Nagarjuna crooned for the very first time for Naga Koteswara Rao’s ‘Nirmala Convent.’ In fact, the movie got most of its hype due to the fact that Nagarjuna was singing a song in it. While, the movie didn’t do so well at the box-office, it has definitely opened new avenues for the veteran actor.
Siddharth
Siddharth has worked in Bollywood, Tollywood and Kollywood and is also one of the few actors who is actually known for his singing as well as his on-screen performances. The ‘NH4’ actor has sung throughout his career. He has crooned a total of seven songs in Telugu; however he isn’t very active in Tollywood at the moment.
Ravi Teja
Ravi Teja also jumped on the bandwagon of singers only about three years ago. It was under the guidance of composer of SS Thaman that he crooned to his first song ‘Kajalu Chellivaa’ in his film ‘Balupu.’ His second attempt at singing was in 2014 with the track, ‘Notanki Notanki,’ working again with Thaman. The Mass Raja has strangely not experimented with playback singing since then.
