Tollywood actors who started their own production banners

It’s not an easy task to make a feature film. In this regard, we have to salute producers for their sincere efforts to make the final output. Not every film turns out to be a hit, some remain disasters though filmmakers attempt again for better output. Some actors have decided to start their own production banners due to some creative gaps between them. Let’s see the Tollywood actors who started their own production banners.

Pawan Kalyan

Power star Pawan Kalyan is a multifaceted actor. He writes a script, can choreograph songs, do playback singing, choreograph stunts, produce and direct. He has his very own production house called PK Creative Works. The 46-year-old actor has produced two films so far. ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ and ‘Chal Mohan Ranga’ were churned out from his production house. Both films were average fares at the box office but producers were reportedly at safe side. He reportedly invested the amount of Rs 75 crore in ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ and Rs 30 crore in ‘Chal Mohan Ranga’.

Mahesh Babu

Tollywood price Mahesh Babu’s charming personality is the winning factor of his films. His presence is also a part of the film’s success. Mahesh Babu is running his own production company G Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt Ltd and has found success in his first production venture ‘Srimanthudu’, directed by Koratala Siva. The actor has collaborated with Mythri Movie Makers to produce this film.

Ram Charan

Mega Power star Ram Charan, who recently gave a refreshingly candid hit with the Sukumar directorial ‘Rangasthalam’, formed his production company, Konidela Production Company, in 2016. He is the producer of his star father’s come back film ‘Khaidi No 150’, directed by VV Vinayak. The movie registered new records at the box office. Shresht Movies, which was established by himself with the help of his father Sudhakar Reddy and sister Nikitha Reddy, is a production on a roll. Nani

Natural star Nani is definitely not a desperate filmmaker. The 34-year-old actor established Wall Poster Cinema in 2017 which was behind his psychological thriller ‘Awe’. Tollywood has been engulfed in a debate about the lack of creative films, the actor took a responsibility to help promote diversity with his film. This film helped boost the careers of Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Regina Cassandra, Eesha Rebba and Srinivas Avasarala, and the production house remains unusually auteur-friendly.
