Popular celebrity siblings of Tollywood

Though fame is not a family affair, the blood relatives have found a space for themselves in Tollywood and preserved their close ties as siblings. But not every sibling bears their genetics on their sleeve.

Nevertheless, let’s take a look at some talented blood relatives who are also our favourite stars.

Jyothika, Nagma and Roshini

For the Nagma sisters, they are all actors. Nagma is the oldest among them and was the first to get into acting. Jyothika is the second then Roshini is the youngest of the trio. All three are Tamilians and all of them are known. Roshini made her acting debut alongside Karthik in the Selva’s comedy entertainer ‘Sishya’ and later she featured in several hit films such as ‘Master’, ‘Pavitra Prema’ and ‘Prema Lekhalu’. Nagma is famous for his roles in films such as ‘Peddinti Alludu’, ‘Killer’, ‘Gharana Mogudu’, ‘Major Chandrakanth’, ‘Varasudu’, ‘Allari Alludu’, ‘Rikshavodu’ and many more. Jyothika got married to famous Kollywood star Suriya and even after marriage she is continuing her stint on the silver screen.

Shamlee and Shalini

We’re sure we are all big fans of the Shalini sisters. They are extremely good looking and accomplished actors. They were spectacularly famous for their child artist roles. The two are extremely close. Shalini got her start ‘Aadyathe Anuraagam’ in 1983 as a child artist and made her female debut in ‘Aniyathi Pravu’ alongside Kunchacko Boban. She has married Thala Ajith Kumar and they have two children namely Anoushka and Aadvik. Shamlee is still working hard to make it big in the showbiz world.

Kajal and Nisha Aggarwal

All of us definitely get jealous once in a while when we see these two. They are just the cutest celebrity siblings to watch. Kajal is the older one and they are both at the top of their games when it comes to acting and staging roles. They’ve definitely got each other’s back and are very supportive. If they were not siblings, they would surely pass for top actresses in Tollywood. While Kajal made her Tollywood debut in ‘Lakshmi Kalyanam’, Nisha began her career with ‘Yemayindi Ee Vela’. Nisha tied the knot with Karan Valecha, a Mumbai-based businessman.

Shruti and Akshara Haasan

Haasan – The name alone has a lot of significance. They are not just one of the most popular siblings, the family has become one of South India’s most famous families. The screen loves them always! Akshara was encouraged and inspired by Shruti when she was about beginning her career in acting. They have been seen in quite a number of films. Away from their star father Kamal Haasan, both the sisters were raised by their mother Sarika Thakur in Mumbai. With all the issues they managed to rise to a good height in not only in South India but also in Bollywood.

Sanjjanaa and Nikki Galrani

Sanjjanaa and Nikki are definitely one of South India’s most beautiful sisters. They are not just skilled actresses but are very supportive of each other’s film careers.
