Yesteryear actor Haranath’s grandnephew Virat Raj to make Tollywood debut

Virat Raj, the grandnephew of yesteryear handsome actor Haranath, is all set to make his Tollywood debut with the upcoming film ‘Seeta Manohara Sri Raghava.’ The film has been launched formally with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad today. The film’s muhurat shot was started with the camera switched on by noted producer AM Ratnam and the muhurat shot clap given by ‘F2’ fame Anil Ravipudi.
Taking the legacy of his late grandfather Haranath forward, Virat Raj is making his acting debut with ‘Seeta Manohara Sri Raghava’. Both of Virat Raj’s grandparents Haranath and Venkata Subbaraju were eminent actors before.


Written and directed by Durga Srivatsasa K, ‘Seeta Manohara Sri Raghava’ is touted to be a romantic entertainer. Speaking about the film at the launch event, the director reportedly said, “I couldn’t have gotten a better opportunity than this. The title itself gives them away from the movie. It will have lots of family elements and is made as a mass entertainer that will appeal to all sections of the audience,” stated Durga Srivatsasa K.
The film is produced by Sudhakar T under the 'Vandana Movies' banner. Ravi Basrur of ‘Salaar’ fame is composing the music for this film with the lyrics penned by Ramajogaiah Sastry. While Venkat is choreographing fight sequences for the movie, GM Sastry is the editor.
