Vijay Deverakonda has lined-up some interesting projects in the pipeline. The 30-year-old has recently wrapped up shooting for ‘Dear Comrade’ opposite the ravishing
Rashmika Mandanna and is all set to kick-start his next film from today. Titled ‘Hero’, the sports-drama marks the directorial debut of Anand Annamalai and is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, who are the producers of ‘Dear Comrade’ too.
The big-budget movie was officially launched on Sunday with director Koratala Siva clapping the board for the muhurat shot.
If the on-going reports are to be believed, the makers of ‘Hero’ will be spending a whopping sum of Rs 8 crore for a stylish bike race sequence. The entire episode is touted to be the major highlight in the musical-thriller which is set against the backdrop of sports.
This news has sparked a debate about the total production cost of ‘Hero’ and the remuneration of Vijay Deverakonda. The ‘Geetha Govindham’ star will be playing a professional biker in the film and is expected to undergo rigorous training for the role. The multi-lingual project stars Kerala beauty
Malavika Mohanan as the leading lady.
