World Blood Donor Day: Chiranjeevi lauds donors for doing their bit

June 14 every year is observed as World Blood Donor Day and Megastar Chiranjeevi took to social media to laud everyone for doing their bit.
Also sharing a picture of him and his wife Surekha donating blood, he wrote, “On this #WorldBloodDonorsDay congratulating all Blood Donors & particularly my #BloodBrothers & Sisters who help save lives. It's a great fortune that we can save precious lives thru such simple actions & form a bond for life wid fellow humans, through blood #DonateBloodSaveLives. (sic)”

Chiranjeevi runs blood banks in the city and has always urged his fans to donate blood and save lives. His fans often commemorate him on his birthday by conducting blood donation drives too. During the pandemic, the actor has also set up oxygen plants to help supply cylinders to those in need.
The actor will soon be seen in Koratala Siva’s Acharya, which will see him in a role he has never played before. Kajal Aggarwal plays the female lead while Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde play key roles. The film was supposed to hit screens in May but was postponed due to the pandemic. A new release date is yet to be announced for the same. He has also given his nod to star in Jayam Mohan Raja’s Telugu remake of the Malayalam hit Lucifer
