It seems like Tollywood is betting more on casting combinations these days than on content. Now, the happening Trishna Krishnan, who had been a pretty queen of South cinema for more than a decade and who recently played a queen in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan', is said to be playing a motherly role in the upcoming Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s film ‘Tillu Square’.

As per the latest reports, Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi, who is remaking the series, will be doing one more Malayalam remake, ‘Bro Daddy," in Telugu. The original film, which has Mohan Lal and Meena, who appeared as parents, has Prithvi Raj and Kalyani Priyadarshan playing the young leads. In the Telugu version, Chiranjeevi and Trishna will reportedly be reprising the roles of Mohan Lal and Meena, while the young leads will be performed by DJ Tillu's Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Sree Leela. This way, Trishna will reportedly play the role of Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s mother in the film.

Trisha, who is still playing the female leads, opposite ace actors, will sure to surprise many with this role. It is also said that the high remuneration made the actress take such a bold step, or maybe it is just an interesting subject of the film; however, there is no official announcement on the same.
