So far Allu Arjun has not committed to any new film project but is currently concentrating on Sukumar's ‘Pushpa: The Rule'. Due to his newly gained popularity as a Pan-India star, he is now reportedly acting very conscious in selecting the scripts and directors for his upcoming films.
However, he announced a film with Koratala Siva in the past which was later pushed aside after Koratala’s ‘Acharya’ failed to impress the Telugu audience. He is also said to have kept Dil Raju’s film ‘IKON’ on hold due to the same scripting issues.
Now, as per the latest buzz in Tollywood, Allu Arjun is keen to reunite with his ‘Race Gurram’ director Surender Reddy who has given him a solid hit of his career in 2014.
Though director Surender Reddy's 'Syeraa Narasimha Reddy' didn't do well at the box office, the story idea pitched by him to AA is said to have been liked by the 'Pushpa' star and if all goes well, Allu will be teaming up with ‘Race Gurram’ director post his current commitments.
On the other hand, Surender Reddy is said to have wrapped up the talkie part of Akhil Akkineni and Mammooty’s ‘Agent’ and the film will hit the theatres in the Summer of 2023.
