Why Nayanthara is the perfect fit for Airra

that has Nayanthara playing the dual role with a versatile look is releasing worldwide on March 28th. Sharing the updates about the movie on social media, the team of the

Airaa

has revealed the making of the movie.

, who shared that casting Nayantara as Bhavani the lead character of the movie was very convincing for the team after seeing her look test before shooting of the film."When scripting, we didn't think that Nayantara ma'am would be playing both the roles. But once we had that idea, we pitched it to her. She suggested we do a look test and decide. After the look test, we were all convinced that we got our Bhavani!"

Director of Photography Sudharshan Srinivasan, who shared how Airra is going to be different from the custom horror film making that the film industries generally does, he says that "Most horror films use blue tones because it works well with horror and night scenes. For Airaa, we decided to break that norm and go with warm colours - reds, Yellows, oranges. It was a risk we had taken and we had very few references to guide us. But now, we feel the colours have worked out very well for the film!"
