Kavya Thapar gets arrested in Mumbai
Model turned actress Kavya Thapar who is known for her work in Telugu films ‘Ek Mini Katha’ starring Santosh Shoban and ‘Ee Maaya Peremito’ has been reportedly arrested by the Mumbai Police on Thursday morning (Feb 17) following a drunk and drive case and making an accident with one person injured. She has been remanded and is currently in judicial custody. She has been also booked under the brawl with the police for using abusive language against the police officials.

Balakrishna starts shooting for 'NBK107'
Nandamuri Balakrishna, who was last seen in Boyapati Sreenu's 'Akhanda', has kick-started shooting for his upcoming movie on Friday. Bappi Lahiri passes away
Veteran singer-music director Bappi Lahiri -- who wielded the baton at the age of 17 -- passed away here in the early hours of Wednesday. He was 69 and breathed his last in the Criticare Hospital where he was admitted for certain post-Covid issues. Born in West Bengal, Lahiri first composed music for a Bengali film 'Daadu' and launched his Bollywood career with a film, 'Nanha Shikari'. He had composed multiple Telugu songs which made him one of the best composers during 1986-2020 in India.
