Despite introduced to Telugu cinema as Megastar Chiranjeevi’s son, Ram Charan was quick to learn the nuances of acting and develop the necessary skills to succeed as a commercial hero. His eagerness to try out a variety of genres is what made him today a bankable hero and crowd-puller at the box-office. After making a stunning debut with Chirutha, Charan scored an industry blockbuster with Rajamouli’s

Magadheera

and continued his consistency with hit films like Naayak, Yevadu and Dhruva.

In a successful protagonist career spanning for over 12 years, the 35-year-old actor delivered his best performance in Sukumar’s rustic actioner ‘Rangasthalam’. Portraying a platter of emotions convincingly, he nailed it as ‘sound engineer’ Chitti Babu and has completely submitted to the traits of the all-encompassing countryside. Presently, Ram Charan is looking forward to resuming the shoot of

RRR

(Roudram Ranam Rudhiram).

Set against the pre-independence era of the 1920s, the period actioner directed by Rajamouli is a fictitious story based on two legendary freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem. Charan is playing the younger version of the former with Alia Bhatt as his leading lady. The promo video released on his birthday hinted that he will be playing the role of a cop who is fascinated towards boxing. The handsome hunk has already obtained special training from popular pro boxer Neeraj Goyat.

Ram Charan is the only son of Chiranjeevi and Surekha Konidela. He has two sisters namely Sushmita and Sreeja. Most of his

cousins

both from mother and father side happen to be leading actors in Tollywood at the moment. While Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Sirish are Allu Arvind’s (Surekha’s brother) children, Varun Tej and Niharika are Chiranjeevi’s brother Naga Babu’s kids. Sai Dharam Tej and the new entrant Panja Vaisshnav Tej are born to Chiru’s younger sister Vijaya Durga.

As expected, all the second-generation kids from the Mega and Allu household have been maintaining a close rapport despite their hectic professional commitments. Once in a while, they gather for family reunions, festivals and spend some quality time with each other. Recently, on Allu Arjun’s birthday, Ram Charan shared a childhood photo where the ‘Pushpa’ actor can be seen feeding cake to the latter in a birthday party. On every special occasion in the family, all the actors post

throwback

pictures and revive their old memories.

Allu Arjun is presently hands-full with Sukumar’s Pushpa. After wrapping up the rustic actioner starring Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady, he will join hands with Koratala Siva for #AA21.

After ending 2019 on a high with back-to-back superhits with ‘F2: Fun & Frustration’ and ‘Gaddalakonda Ganesh’, Varun Tej is gearing up for his upcoming project with debutante Kiran Korrapati. Touted to be a high-voltage sports drama, the 30-year-old actor will be essaying the role of a professional boxer and to fit the bill, he already underwent intense training program for two months in Los Angeles and worked on his body transformation.
