Surprising the trade pundits, Puri Jagannadh’s latest directorial ‘iSmart Shankar’ is continuing its dream run at the global box-office with a total gross of over Rs 75 crore. Along with Puri’s trademark dialogues, the kick-ass performance of Ram, thumping background score by Mani Sharma and the drool-worthy act of both the leading ladies have satisfied the long-awaited thirst of the mass audience.
After the protagonist, it was Kannada bombshell Nabha Natesh who created a striking impact by playing the audacious character of Chandini who speaks with a Telangana slang. Be it during bold scenes or beach songs, the 23-year-old actress struck the right chord with the masses with her solid acting chops and drool-worthy looks.
Co-producer of iSmart Shankar, Charmee Kaur took to social media today and shared Nabha Natesh’s audition clip for the leading lady’s role. The veteran heroine confirmed that the Sringeri beauty was immediately signed after the audition and ironically, the same dialogue was her opening scene in the film.
At present, Nabha Natesh is busy shooting for Disco Raja in Delhi and she happens to essay the second female lead with Payal Rajput being the first.
