Mera Naam Joker
has been launched with a pooja ceremony on Sunday and none other than
Maruthi graced the event as the chief guest. One can see in the photos, Maruthi along with the makers holding the
clapboard
at the launch of the upcoming Telugu film.
Speaking on the occasion, Maruthi said, ''My friend
Surya Gopal
loves cinema. Mera Naam Joker is a super hit title. I am very happy to be heard the title after so many years. I hope Gopal will score a big hit with this film.''
Director Surya Gopal said, ''Thanks to all the media brothers who presented at the launch event of our film. For the first time, I am producing a movie along with our friends under the banner of 4am Movie Makers Production. We are fortunate to announce the title of Mera Naam Joker through director Maruti garu. Pan-India artists will be starring in the film. We will let you know the details soon.''
Writer Raju Bonala said, ''Our director Gopal garu gets up at 4 am every day to do work. That might be the reason why the banner has been named 4am. This movie is going to be very different. We have been working on this subject for almost three years. Gopal garu has a good command in all 24 crafts. I am so glad he gave me a good chance.'
Mera Naam Joker has story, screenplay and direction by Surya Gopal. It will be bankrolled by Shiva N, SG Krishna and Naveen under the banner of 4am Movie Makers. Mera Naam Joker will go on floors from November.
