Wanna be my Chammak Challo?

Their last big screen outing came with truckloads of controversies. The ���������Mr Nookayya��������� vs ���������Mr Nokia��������� tussle had the industry and media riveted for a week, as new drama unfolded everyday between the mobile phone giant and producers who were at loggerheads about the title of the film. This time around again, producer DS Rao has his heart set on ���������Chammak Challo���������, the hit ���������Ra.One��������� number picturised on SRK and Kareena Kapoor, for the title of his upcoming film.
On Tuesday morning, rumours were flying thick and fast that Shah Rukh Khan���������s Red Chillies Entertainment has issued a legal notice to Rao for using the title ���������Chammak Challo���������. Denying such reports however, DS Rao says he���������s taken all precautions against copyright infringement. ���������We haven���������t received any notice from Shah Rukh Khan or his team. These rumors are absolutely baseless.���������
Post the ���������Mr Nookayya��������� fiasco, the producer is taking every precaution to ensure there isn���������t a repeat of such an incident. Defending his choice of using the title of the popular song for his upcoming romantic entertainer, Rao said, ���������In the past, there have been numerous cases where song titles and part of the lyrics of popular numbers have been used as movie titles, ���������Oh My Friend��������� being a recent example. So, I see no harm in using ���������Chammak Challo��������� as it���������s not a copyright infringement.���������
Meanwhile, those from Shah Rukh Khan���������s production house remained oblivious to the events unfolding in the city. ���������We haven���������t heard of such a film. SRK is not in the country and if there is a decision that needs to be taken on this, it will happen only when he is back,��������� said an official from SRK���������s production house.
