Well-known Tollywood director VV Vinayak had a guest appearance in Chiranjeevi starrer Tagore. The director was seen playing one of the loveable students of a professor played by Chiru in the film.
Vinayak made his directorial debut with the action-drama Aadi, starring Jr NTR. He won the state Nandi Award for his work in the film. He went on to direct super hit films such as Dil, Samba, Tagore, Bunny, Krishna, Adhurs, Naayak and Khaidi No 150.
He was last helmed Intelligent, starring Sai Dharam Tej in the lead role. With this movie’s failure, Vinayak is a dearth of opportunities in the industry.
It is reported that VV Vinayak is all set to make his celluloid debut as an actor with an untitled project bankrolled by ace producer Dil Raju. As the subject suits his appearance and body language,
Dil Raju wanted to rope him as the protagonist in the film. Debutant Narasimha Rao, who earlier worked as an assistant for
Shankar, will wield the megaphone for this project. Sources say the preparation is going full steam ahead and the shoot will begin from October 9, on the occasion of Vinayak’s birthday.
