amidst much fanfare. The veteran actor who completed 42 years in the industry was conferred the title of Viswa Nata Sarvabhouma in celebration of the landmark. The event was graced by politicians belonging to various parties and senior actors/actresses like

Jayaprada

, Jayasudha, Brahmanandam, Shriya Saran, Ali, Pragya Jaiswal and others. C Vidhyasagar Rao, the Governor of Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, was the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, T Subbarami Reddy popularly known as TSR said, "I host events like this because your happiness is ‘Eeshwara Shakti’ for me. Mohan Babu is the only actor in India who has done 150 films as a hero after playing villainous roles in hundreds of movies. Providing free education to hundreds is his specialty. He is a unique man in history. Sarvabhouma is a moniker not limited to his acting credentials alone."

Nandamuri Balakrishna said, "Padma Shri Mohan Babu garu was Nanna garu's friend and disciple. A countless number of artists have brought glory to this country with their talent and dedication. Some of them are in dire straits today. There was a time when artists used to be patronized. But in today's era, there are not many organizations which do that. TSR garu is one rare personality who is doing that. He has the blessings of Lord Shiva for carrying out these activities that support arts.
