Ruhani Sharma’s investigative thriller
HIT
is off to a flying start at the box-office. While critics couldn’t stop raving about the moody suspense thriller, audience are gradually making it to the theaters owing to the strong word-of-mouth. Along with the flawless performance of the Falaknuma Das actor, director
Sailesh Kolanu’s riveting narration, V Manikandan’s brilliant cinematography and the pulsating background score by Vivek Sagar have aided HIT to emerge as a well-constructed thriller.
Meanwhile, much to everyone’s shock, the full movie of HIT has been
leaked online
by the notorious
piracy
website
TamilRockers and Movierulz. Within hours of release, the HD print of the film has arrived on torrents to either view or free download. While the illegal act is certainly a jolt to the makers, hope they would act fast and delete the leaked videos.
Off late, piracy is proving to be a big threat for successful films and despite the precautionary measures being taken to curb it; it is still in full run. In recent times, TamilRockers have leaked almost all big-ticket Telugu films including Sarileru Neekevvaru, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Disco Raja and World Famous Lover.
Vishwak Sen will be seen as an investigative cop in HIT who suffers from PTSD. The film deals with the missing of a young girl (Preeti) on the highway under mysterious circumstances. The Homicide Intervention Team comes into action and Vikram Rudraraju (Vishwak) is assigned to conduct the investigation.
While the music of the crime-thriller is composed by Vivek Sagar, S Manikandan has handled the camera and Garry BH, known for editing thrillers such as Kshanam and Goodachari, is the editor. Natural Star Nani and popular costume designer Prashanti Tipirneni have bankrolled the film under their production house Wall Poster Cinema.
