Vishal’s ‘Abhimanyudu’ completes its 50-day run in theatres

‘Abhimanyudu’, the Telugu version of the Tamil super hit ‘Irumbu Thirai’ has completed 50 days at the box office and is marching toward the 75-day mark.

Happy with the response the movie has got, the makers thanked the entire team for their efforts. According to trade reports, Vishal’s ‘Abhimanyudu’ has fetched over Rs 60 crore gross from its run worldwide. The film has collected approximately Rs 2.2 crore on its first day.
Released on June 1, ‘Abhimanyudu’ deals with the leaks of Aadhar card details and privacy of the citizen. While Samantha has essayed the role of a doctor, senior actor Arjun played the antagonist, who steals Aadhar card data through unauthorised means. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by George C Williams.
