Puneet Rajkumar has left his family, friends, well-wishers, and millions of his fans in sorrow with a huge void that certainly cannot be filled. The power star was laid to rest beside his parents, with full state honors at Sree Kanteerava Studios on Sunday. Several actors from across southern Industries attended his funeral and paid their last respect for their dear Appu. Tamil-Telugu actor Vishal who was in Hyderabad on Sunday for the pre-release of his movie ‘Enemy’ was also shattered by the sad news and spoke at a stretch about the deceased Kannada star in his speech at the pre-release event.

Vishal while talking about Puneet shared his special connection with the Kannada Powerstar and expressed how Puneeth’s loss is not just limited to the film industry and is a huge loss to society as the late actor was into charity work without making a fuss about it. Now that he is no more, society will get severely affected. However, Vishal further reportedly affirmed that he won't allow the society to suffer andy promised to take care of all the 1800 children, whom Puneet used to fund. ‘Enemy’ is his latest outing with Vishal and Arya in the lead roles. The film also stars Mamta Mohandas, Prakash Raj, Mrinalini Ravi in other important roles. The film is slated to release on November 4 coinciding with the Deepavali festival in both Telugu and Tamil languages.
