‘Virata Parvam’: Priyamani lands a crucial role in the Rana Daggubati starrer

Rana Daggubati is all set to team up with director Venu Udugula of ‘Needi Naadi Oke Katha’ fame for a political drama titled ‘Virata Parvam’. Set in the backdrop of the emergency, the film will touch upon the themes of democracy, Marxism, and Human Rights. Sai Pallavi is playing the leading lady opposite Rana while Tabu is on board to play a human rights activist in the film.
According to the latest reports, award winning actress Priyamani has reportedly been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film. Priyamani, who made her Tollywood debut with P Bhanu Shankar’s ‘Evare Atagaadu’ in 2002, become everyone’s favorite with her phenomenal performances in various films.
Apart from this film, Priyamani will also be next seen in ‘Sirivennela’ to be directed by Prakash Pulijala. The shooting of the movie has been wrapped up recently and its post-production work is in underway. Child artist Sai Tejaswani is playing a key role in the film. ‘Sirivennela’ has been bankrolled by Kamal Bhora, AN Basha and Ramaseetha under the banner of Shanti Telefilms in association with ANB Co-ordinators.
