'Virata Parvam' Review, Release LIVE UPDATES: Audience can’t stop praising Sai Pallavi & Rana Daggubati's impactful performances in Venu Udugula's period romantic action-drama

Venu Udugula directorial 'Virata Parvam', starring Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles, is out in theatres today. The period action-drama also stars Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra, Zarina Wahab, Easwari Rao, Sai Chand and Nivetha Pethuraj in the other prominent roles. While Rana will play comrade Ravanna, Sai Pallavi will be seen as his love interest Vennela. The trailer of the film 'Virata Parvam' has garnered a tremendous response from cinephiles. The film is being bankrolled jointly by Rana's father D Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banners of 'Suresh productions' and 'Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas'. The film has been shot by foreign cinematographer Dani Salo along with Divakar Mani and has its editing taken care of by multiple award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad. Action sequences were choreographed by Peter Hein and Stefan Richter, while its choreography is taken care of by Raju Sundaram and Prem Rakshith Masters. As we reported earlier, the film is a period romantic drama written and directed by Venu Udugula and the film was funded jointly by Rana’s father under their home banner Suresh Productions, and Sudhakar Cherukuri’s Banner. The character of Vennela is said to be based on a woman named Sarala, whose mother gave Sai Pallavi a saree in real life.The creators of 'Virata Parvam' claim that Sarala, a real-life character, served as the model for the character of Vennela.
