'Virata Parvam' Review, Release LIVE UPDATES: Audience can’t stop praising Sai Pallavi & Rana Daggubati's impactful performances in Venu Udugula's period romantic action-drama

Venu Udugula directorial 'Virata Parvam', starring Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles, is out in theatres today. The period action-drama also stars Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra, Zarina Wahab, Easwari Rao, Sai Chand and Nivetha Pethuraj in the other prominent roles. While Rana will play comrade Ravanna, Sai Pallavi will be seen as his love interest Vennela. The trailer of the film 'Virata Parvam' has garnered a tremendous response from cinephiles. The film is being bankrolled jointly by Rana's father D Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banners of 'Suresh productions' and 'Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas'. The film has been shot by foreign cinematographer Dani Salo along with Divakar Mani and has its editing taken care of by multiple award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad. Action sequences were choreographed by Peter Hein and Stefan Richter, while its choreography is taken care of by Raju Sundaram and Prem Rakshith Masters. "It is so exciting for me to work with Rana. I knew Rana for a long time and we met also socially but never worked together. Quite interestingly, in 'Virata Parvam' even though I am not playing the heroine of the film, I am playing a pivotal part. "The story is set in the '90s and it is about a Naxal movement. There are actions, interesting turns of event and shows a socio-political chapter of that time, which is a reality too. Both of us are playing Naxals in the film and I am his second in command. Since we had to speak a different dialect of Telugu in the film, we had a lot of rehearsals. I am also looking forward to see how the audience reacts to that"
