The pre-release event for Kiccha Sudeep-starrer 'Vikrant Rona' was held on Tuesday in Hyderabad. As part of the promotions, team of 'Vikrant Rona' invited Tollywood king Akkineni Nagarjuna as the chief guest for the film’s pre-release event in Hyderabad. Nagarjuna, who shares a good bond with Kiccha Sudeep graced the event.
Speaking on the occasion Kiccha Sudeep said, "Just because Hindi cinema is not doing well, it is ok to say south cinema is dominating. I think there are good times for everything. If the Hindi film industry has not been doing great or doesn't have great people, how would you think it sustained for so many years. It's just a matter of time."
Heaping praise on Sudeep and Vikrant Rona, Nagarjuna said, ''You reminded me of my movies. I got nostalgic about my movies and songs. I am very happy to be part of this occasion. Sudeep is not a Kannada native, he was born in Hyderabad. He stays in Hyderabad only. But he is a well-known actor throughout India. With 'Vikrant Rona', he is going to rock all over Indian again. I wish him all the best. We put the posters of blockbuster films in Annapurna Studios, and I 'm sure Vikrant Rona’s poster will be there after the release. 'Vikrant Rona' is directed by Anup Bhandari and produced by Kichcha Creations, Shalini Arts and Invenio Films India. The technical crew of this film includes William David as the cinematographer and B Ajaneesh Loknath for music composition. Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ravishankar Gowda, Madhusudan Rao and Vasuki Vaibhav are also part of Vikrant Rona, which is all set to hit the marquee on July 28.
