The teaser launch event of 'Ugram' starring Allari Naresh was attended by Akkineni Naga Chaitanya as the chief guest. The entire cast and crew was also present at the event.

Allari Naresh has expressed his gratitude towards Naga Chaitanya for making his presence felt at the event. He said, ''Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is a good human being and I like him very much. I feel very happy that this event is happening in the presence of Chaitanya. With Naandhi, Vijay garu showed me a new path in the industry. Since then, I started seeing myself in a new way. When I was in failure, Vijay stood by me and strengthened me. It took three years for us to unite and we will announce one more film in our combination next year for sure. We’re very confident about our film, Ugram. Thanks to Vijay garu for showing me a new avatar in this film. We had budget constraints while making Naandhi, but we didn’t have any budget-related issues during the filming of Ugram. Hence, thanks to Sahu garu and Harish garu. I wish Ugram will be a big hit, and we will repeat our magic once again.''


Heroine Mirnaa Menon started her speech by greeting everyone in Telugu. She said, ''I am grateful, very excited and happy today. I hope all of you like the teaser. First of all, thank you Naga Chaitanya garu, thank you for being here. You made this day special. My special thanks to my producers. This is a special opportunity for me, and I thank everyone in the film. We’re kickstarting the promotions with all your blessing today. It’s definitely a blockbuster film with all your support. Thank you so much.''


Speaking at the event, Vijay Kanakamedala said, ''Hi, everyone. Thanks to Akkineni Naga Chaitanya garu for coming to the event. Naandhi is an honest film, and the audience loved it. And I am sure we made Ugram too honestly. We will show how a sincere cop confronts goons for attacking his family in the film. I would like to thank Naresh garu for giving me the to direct him for the second time. And I also thank Sahu garu and Harish garu for spending a huge amount without any hesitation. You will get to know after watching the film how their passion for a film. I thank each and everyone in our team for supporting me all these days.''

'Ugram' is directed by Vijay Kanakamedala with whom Allari Naresh is teaming up for the second time after 'Naandhi.' It was released on 19 February 2021. The film follows the story of a man who has been wrongfully accused of a crime and is struggling for his innocence. He must fight against the system to prove his innocence and reclaim his freedom. The film received mostly positive reviews from critics and audiences. It featured Allari Naresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Praveen, Harish Uthaman, Vinay Varma and Devadarshini.


When it comes to 'Ugram', it will release in theatres this summer. The film also stars Koushik Mahata, Mirnaa and Manikanta Varanasi in crucial roles. While Sricharan Pakala handled the cinematography, Siddarth Jadhav cranked the camera with Chota K. Prasad editing the flick.
