Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Taxiwala’ to hit the screens on November 16

After back-to-back blockbusters like ‘Arjun Reddy’ and

, young and happening hero Vijay Deverakonda pinned big hopes on the political-thriller ‘NOTA’. But sadly, the bilingual film failed to set the cash registers ringing in both the

Telugu states

. However, here is satisfying news for all his fans waiting to see their emerging superstar on the silver screen.

Vijay’s long-delayed film ‘

Taxiwala

’ which was rumoured to be directly liberated on

digital platforms

has finally got a

release

date. The film will hit the theatres on November 16. The 29-year-old ‘Pelli Choopulu’ star took to social media to share the news and posted “Young director, young team, young story, young cast & your man in combination with UV&GA2.”.

The science fiction thriller is jointly bankrolled by UV Creations and

Geetha Arts

with debutante Rahul Sankrityan directing it. Supposed to release early this year, ‘Taxiwala’ was delayed several times due to its extensive

CGI

work. The makers took their time to get the best quality output and have finally announced the release date.

With music by Malayalam composer Jakes Bejoy, ‘Taxiwala’ stars Priyanka Jawalkar and Malavika Nair as female leads with Kalyani, Madhunandan, Sijju Menon, Ravi Prakash, Ravi Varma, Uttej and Vishnu OI in supporting roles.
