'Liger', starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, has completed the shooting of the film and is now involved in the post-production work. And the latest news is that director Puri Jagannadh is getting ready with the trailer to be unveiled in the second week or third week of July.
Puri Jagannadh is known to add a commercial flavour to his films has come up with yet another different subject in 'Liger'. The movie is based on the story of an underdog, who rises as an MMA fighter played by Vijay. Also featuring Ananya Panday as the female lead, 'Liger' is one of the most ambitious projects for the 'Arjun Reddy' actor.
'Liger' comes with an interesting star cast, and it is the first time that Vijay is associating with the director. The pan-India movie also marks boxing legend Mike Tyson's debut in Indian cinema. Ramya Krishna, Ronit Roy, Ali and Makarand Deshpande form the supporting cast. Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta together are bankrolling the film on a grand scale under the banner of Puri Connects in collaboration with Dharma Productions. The technical crew includes Mani Sharma as the music composer, Vishnu Sharma as the Director of Photography, and Junaid Siddiqui as the editor.
