Vijay Deverakonda shares about audition rejection before 'The Family Star' release

There is a lot of buzz among fans for the upcoming release 'The Family Star', which features Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur in the lead. The actor shared an intriguing incident during a media interaction, shedding light on his journey in the film industry.

According to Vijay, he had previously auditioned for a role in the film 'Kerintha' under the SVC banner. Although he didn't secure the part, the experience left a lasting impression on him. Recalling their familiarity during Vijay's 'Kerintha' audition, Dil Raju corroborated Vijay's story. Even though Vijay wasn't chosen for that specific role, Dil Raju appreciated his determination and dedication, which ultimately resulted in them working together on 'The Family Star'.
