Vijay Deverakonda visits Uri; spends time with the 'baddest men on the Indian frontlines'

Actor Vijay Deverakonda recently released from a relaxing vacation in the Maldives and he has head straight to Uri once here.

The actor shared a couple of pictures with soldiers on the frontlines, even seemingly learning how to fire a gun from them. Sharing the pictures he wrote on his social media, “With the Baddest Men on the Indian front lines! (sic)” He even posed with the soldiers amid the picturesque locales of the valley. He can be seen dressed in a simple tee-shirt and pants, all smiles as he interacts with them about weaponry and more.


Fans are now curious to know if Vijay Deverakonda is doing director Puri Jagannadh’s next project, JGM, after all. The film is supposed to see Vijay in a completely different role – that of an Indian army soldier. However, given the lacklustre response their previous film together, Liger, received across the country, many fans had requested the actor to drop the project. The film was supposed to be Vijay’s debut in Bollywood and Ananya Panday’s debut down south, but it failed to leave a mark at the box office and with fans, both.


In the meantime, Vijay has shot portions of Shiva Nirvana’s Kushi, which will also star Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role. Further details are awaited.
