Vijay Deverakonda and
Rashmika Mandanna marked their first month anniversary and are back to work on their upcoming movie ‘Ranabaali’. While the couple visited Anantapur, the ‘Kingdom’ actor was spotted protecting his wife amid the fanfare to get a glimpse of the stars.
Temple visit amid fan rush
In the morning, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna went to a Hanuman temple to take the blessings. Many fans came there after the star couple in hopes of seeing them, which led to the crowd getting very close. Vijay, performing his husband duties, stayed near Rashmika all the time. He held her close and made sure she was safe, while the security team tried to control the crowd, as seen in a video shared by Anantapur_diaries. The ‘Ranabaali’ couple smiled and waved at fans. Vijay was seen wearing a cream kurta and his wife wore a blue suit.
Warm welcome on set
Speaking about their upcoming movie, later, they went back to the set of ‘Ranabaali’. The team welcomed the couple with a simple aarti as they returned to the sets for the first time as a married couple. Women put kumkum on their foreheads. In one small clip, Rashmika Mandanna can be seen looking at Vijay and smiling at him.
About ‘Ranabaali’
The film is directed by Rahul Sankrityan and is a period action drama. The story is set between 1854 and 1878. It talks about the fight against British rule and the hard times during the famine.
