However, it appears the actor is now ready to broaden his horizons. A source close to the actor reveals, “Despite his hectic schedule, Vijay is showing a keen interest in diversifying his roles. He has predominantly portrayed characters with Telangana backgrounds and is now eager to take on Andhra-based roles.”
In addition to his upcoming projects with directors Parasuram and Gowtam Tinnanuri, the source revealed that Vijay is expressing interest in scripts by Rahul Sankrityan (known for Taxiwaala) and Ravi Kiran Kola (known for Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru). “Recently, directors Rahul Sankritiyan and Ravi Kiran Kola approached Vijay with characters hailing from Andhra. Vijay believes playing Andhra characters will help him expand his repertoire as an actor,” adds the source.
