Vijay Deverakonda calls his father a 'Family Star' as he drops an emotional video for him: 'Forgive me, If I ever hurt you' - WATCH

Vijay Deverakonda has shared an emotional video on his Instagram account ahead of the release of his upcoming film ‘Family Star’. The video features a lot of good old childhood moments from his life with his father, and he dedicated his film to all the people out there who fight for their families.

In the clip, Vijay shared some younger pictures of his father, Govardhan Rao, and other series of pictures from Vijay’s childhood playtime with him. Some shots showcase the bond between Vijay, his brother Anand, and their mother, Madhavi. While sharing the clip, the actor became too nostalgic and emotional. He wrote, “My hero. My Star. Life is full of highs and lows :) and I do not know what it holds in store. But I work every day to make you proud and happy.” The actor mentioned his father as the real hero of his life.

Vijay called his father a superstar, “I love you my Superstar ��⭐️ We made #FamilyStar to celebrate the stars in our lives, sharing with you a little flashback of the man who I made this movie for. I dedicate this movie to every Man/Woman/Boy/Girl fighting for their family ❤️ Lots of love, Your man. Vijay.”

In the video, he also added a lot of notes, 'Making you proud will be my biggest success. Without you, I would not be where I'm today. You are my first best friend, you are my first hero, you are my strength. If I ever hurt you or let you down, forgive me.'

The actor earlier mentioned that he could connect with his role in this film due to the different layers it has. He was reminded of his childhood and growing up. Many of the people he met in his life had a shade of his role in ‘Family Star’. Even he felt the role similar to his father and his younger self.

Directed by Parasuram Petla, the film will hit theaters on April 5.
