‘Geetha Govindam’

and ‘NOTA’, is awaiting the release of his new-gen crime-thriller

‘Taxiwala’

with a big queue of films in the production phase. It was Tharun Bhascker’s 2016 rom-com

‘Pelli Choopulu’

that gave Vijay the much-needed break in Tollywood and he is all set to return the favour.

during the public meet of ‘NOTA’ in Hyderabad. If rumours are to be believed, the

‘Arjun Reddy’

star is bankrolling the debut film of Tharun Bhascker as a

hero

which will be directed by debutant Shamir. Apparently, the young filmmaker wanted to cast a natural-looking actor as the story touches upon contemporary issues related to the youth. So, he zeroed on Tharun to which the Vijay Deverakonda instantly gave his nod.

With the pre-production work in full swing, the untitled entertainer is expected to be launched in December and an official announcement will happen soon.
